On the same day, Yutong Bus and the Qatar side signed a framework agreement, agreeing on establishing a KD factory for electric bus in Qatar Free Zone. Yutong technology will serve as a driving force for the prosperity of local automobile industry cluster. The KD factory will be capable to produce more than 300 new energy vehicles per year for Qatar and its surrounding countries.

In 2020 alone, Yutong signed a contract with Kazakhstan for 760 buses powered by compressed natural gas, received an order for 102 battery electric buses from Norway, and shipped 130 dual-source trolleybuses to Mexico.
目前，宇通新能源客车销量已累计突破13万辆，远销至法国、英国、澳大利亚、智利、丹麦等24个国家和地区。仅在2020年，宇通就签约哈萨克斯坦760台燃气客车，获得挪威102台纯电动客车订单，同期发运了墨西哥130台双源无轨客车。
